John Cadillac (aka Greg Boyer) was our Philly Favorite. Saw him at Dobbs, Stars, Emerald City, frat houses, and I forget where else. Such good times and it seems so long ago.

The band was always Greg Boyer and his lead guitarist Jimmy Stout, and I remember Mark Dark on sax, and different bassists and drummers over the years. I recall they began as the John Cadillac Blues Band, but I guess they dropped "Blues" when they began doing more New Wave stuff, but always covered a blues number or two before throwing in the towel and disbanding.

Somewhere around here I have their old 45 "Walking By Myself."
